5 - 4 ounce skeins Dk. Coral
3 - 4 ounce skeins each Pink, Antique Gold and Bitter­sweet
2 - 4 ounce skeins Orange and Tangerine

1 Pr. Knitting Needles No. 8 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW
Plastic Crochet Hook Size J

GAUGE: 4 sts = 1 inch
Each motif is an 8½ inch square; 48 motifs 6 x 8 are required.

MOTIF: With Pink cast on 3 sts. Work in garter st (K each row) inc 1 st at beg of each row in following color stripes: 6 rows Pink, 2 rows Dk. Coral, 6 rows Orange, 2 rows Dk. Coral, 6 rows Tangerine, 2 rows Dk. Coral, 6 rows Antique Gold, 2 rows Dk. Coral, 6 rows Bittersweet, 2 rows Dk. Coral, and 3 rows Pink; 46 sts on needle. NEXT 43 ROWS: Work in garter st dec 1 st at beg of each row working in reverse color stripes ending with 3 sts on needle, bind off.

EDGE: Attach Dk. Coral in any corner, 3 s c in same space, 1 s c in each space between ridges (21 s c), 3 s c in next corner, 1 s c in each space between ridges (21 s c), 3 s c in next corner, com­plete round in same manner, join in 1st s c, cut yarn.

FINISHING: Block each motif. Sew motifs tog through loop in back of sts matching stripes and arranging as illustrated.
